Tailor Your Experience

With upgrades and augments to utilise, you can experiment with which works best for you. Crafting a unique build for your character helps tailor your combat to your liking. 

You’re going to need to hone your skills when it comes to fighting against the biochemical abominations. You can be a ranged attacker, a melee fighter, or a stealthy being who shrouds themselves in the shadows.

Take note of your environment, as you can use walls, objects, and structures to gain the upper hand in battle. If you’re looking for a chilled experience, you can lower the difficulty, or if you fancy more of a challenge, you can raise it. It’s up to you!

No Punishment For Defeat

With Deadzone: Rogue being a roguelite, you gain access to perks, augments, and items as you progress through the ship. Choose wisely between upgrades to perfect your build.

Each time you die, you obtain permanent enhancements that increase your strength in the next run. So, if you die, it works out for the better! It’s the beauty of the roguelite genre.

Explore the Elements

Progress through the Deadzone as you destroy hordes of enemies. As you move along, make sure to keep an eye out for loot. You never know what you might find, especially with over 30 weapons to collect.

Travelling through the ship, there are plenty of opportunities to find powerful new modifiable weapons. From machine guns to plasma cannons, the mechanical mutants don’t stand a chance.

As well as wielding weapons, you can also channel the elements to freeze, shock, and set enemies on fire. Chain them together with lightning, blast them with flames, or trap them within a block of ice, adding tactical combat to the mix.

The final launch version adds 20 enemies and 40 new ways to improve your build too, but most importantly adds the third chapter including nine missions – helping to explain the mysteries of the game’s plot.
